I can not remember when this hype started. But here in Germany there is meanwhile no wedding, birthday party or company event without a photobox. Why the hell do adult people wear red wigs or ugly nerd glasses and take embarrassing selfies? However with sufficient alcohol I every time also endup with my friends or colleagues in the box.
And yes, I admit, its fun taking these stupid selfies.
But why the hell do people rent the equipment for 300-500€ per day to take theses tiny pictures? I guess its all about fun, socializing and bringing emotions to paper. And keeping these memories for a lifetime. Smart move that HP is now launching its tiny, portable pocket printer called HP Sprocket prior to Christmas. It has potential to become a nice christmas gift and practical gadget for the upcoming event season. We had last week our Sales Kick off and after dinner these little printers became a significant entertainment factor. Likewise it did yesterday evening at the Casino Night with our Customers and Business Partners. The HP Sprocket should cleary be invited to every Party. It´s fun and brings people together.
