As a loyal HP employee, I of course use the amazing HP Elite X3 as my private and business phone. I love this device but few weeks ago I got totally shocked. HP introduced the new HP Sprocket Printer and offers Apps only for iOS and Andriod. Officially they do not mention compatibility with Windows. However, together with a Product Manager at HP we found an easy and comfortable way to print from a Windows Phone.
You just need to follow this simple steps:
- Switch on the HP Sprocket
2. Enable your Bluetooth connection on the Smartphone and for the first time connect to the HP Sprocket
3. Take a Picture or go to your camera roll and open a Picture
4. Press the “Share Button” and share via “Bluetooth”
5. Select your Sprocket Printer
6. Data transfer to the printer starts automatically, Print starts a few seconds later
After a short time period the HP Sprocket will automatically disconnect the Bluetooth link. If you want to print the next picture you can immediately start with Step 3 and send the picture straight via Bluetooth to the device. It will automatically re-activate the connection.
We found this solution really easy. Please share within your Windows Community.
